Six Reasons Why films is a films was in development during 2005 while the Campagna Brothers toured their previous film around europe and America. Six Reasons Why films was shot over the course of 14 days in the summer of 2006, primarily in and around the desert town of Drumheller Alberta, with some shooting done in Docville Western town outside of Peterborough, Ontario. Upon completion, the Campagna Brothers went on to tour their film at the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival attracting the attention of Entertainment Tonight, raising the profile of the film to a national level. Six Reasons Why films was at TIFF that the film was discovered the sales company Forward Motion Entertainment.
